Born in Florida, went away to college, worked as an Electrical Engineer for IBM in Florida and North Carolina, was Corporate Treasurer for FANAC, the non-profit corporation that was responsible for the World Science Fiction Convention in Orlando in 1992 (MagiCon), retired to Florida in 2006 after 30 years at IBM.
